Cleveland, Ohio – January 10, 2018 – Gallagher Sharp is pleased to announce that Steven D. Strang has been certified as an Insurance Coverage Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association. Ohio attorneys who are certified as specialists by the OSBA must take and pass a written examination in their specialty field, demonstrate a high level of substantial involvement in the specialty area, fulfill ongoing education requirements, and be favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with their work. Steven joins a list of 26 Certified Insurance Coverage Law Specialists in all of Ohio.
Steven is Gallagher Sharp’s Insurance Practice Group Manager and a partner in the firm’s Columbus office. He focuses his practice on defending insurance carriers against claims alleging bad faith, unfair claims practices, and breach of contract, lawyers against claims alleging legal malpractice, and municipal entities and law enforcement professionals in personal injury and section 1983 civil rights claims.
Steven received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, cum laude, in 2009 and his undergraduate degree from Miami University. He is a member of the Ohio State, Columbus, and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, and a former Chair of the CMBA’s Government Attorney Section.
